Looking for some help. Finally "finished" my center island table that has a table saw and routing table built into it. One of the first things i built was a table for my miter saw so i could cut stuff off the floor. That table *****, I'm not attached to it, and will probably rebuild it. Here is the current layout. Can someone help me set this up logically?

The island is 4x8' and the miter saw table is 34ish by 46ish. I also need to figure out a way to store my extra wood since i took out my old rack and put in a workbench on the other side.

First thing I would do is move all those brown cabinets up to the ceiling line as its creating shadows up there anyways and you gain valuable space down low where you need it. (My shop is 24x24 w/ 10' ceilings and that's what I doing for max floor space at the 5-6' level as well down low. Then paint the cabinets and walls white. Brighten it right up.

Hello,

You should get storage cabinets and place them on the top wall. It will make you garage door much organized and free up unnecessary space. It's worked for me!

I am for sure going to move the cabinets up. When you first recommended that i went to the garage and thought you were crazy. Then looked at it harder and realized how much better it'd be. I plan on moving some of the cabinets to the smaller wall which will give me more space where the saw table is. I moved some stuff around yesterday so ill post some updates shortly.

How hard is it to strip the finish off the cabinets and paint them?
