Help Me Pick A Garage Door Style

I have a fairly new home, with an attached 21ft x 19ft x 10ft(height) 2-car garage. We love our home and don't have enough space to build a separate shop, so I'm working with what I have, which is a 16ft x 7ft opening where I currently have a basic Clopay door.

The plan is to convert our two car into basically a one car garage with a center mounted 2-post lift. This garage will also function as my office in one corner. It will be heated and cooled, so insulation is important of course.

With 10ft of height, I'm limited on space, even a high-lift conversion on my garage would just eat up too much height. So I'm willing to convert to a manual opening door or some type of swing-out door.

So far it looks like I'm going to have to go with a bi-fold double door like this (except outward folding):

The plan is to call around tomorrow and get some prices, but I wanted to ask here first to see if there were other options for me, the cheaper the better to be honest. Basically it needs to be insulated, can't use up any ceiling space, needs to look nice for curb appeal (so I think roll-up doors are out of the question), and needs to be reasonably priced (maybe $4000 or so).

I'd appreciate any advice or recommendations before I call the pros and hand over my wallet.

Thanks!

Would a sliding barn type door work? The kind that opens by sliding it to the side. They could be insulated since they would neither fold up or roll up.

That might work since you said you would open the door manually.

Or some Carriage doors would work and look nice too. Here is a picture of one I like:

Unless you have extremely precise floors, the clearances required for any swing door seem to make it impossible to seal....maybe a floor sill to seal on?

Look into those hangar style exterior folding jobbies.

Were you are located is required to understand you needs.

I wouldn't prefer a bi-fold as shown. For the center lift why not get double hung doors just like the ones you show but have the outer doors pinned and the center 2 opening out? If needed, that design will let you open the center doors 180º and then un-pin the outer doors and swing each pair 90º. They work like this:

Sorry for the large pic, it was the only img I could find. They are more easily weatherstripped.

How about aircraft hangar style bi-fold doors? The "fold" in the door is horizontal and opens completely outside the garage envelope.
