Help me pick out a full metric combo wrench set

I'm looking to fill in the gaps in my metric (20 yr old Craftsman) combo wrench set (non ratcheting). The set is missing so many pieces at this point that it's a no brainer to just buy a whole new one and try to sell the old ones as singles.

I've narrowed my search down to:

GearWrench 81916 22 Piece Metric Combination Wrench Set for $129 (was 120 2 weeks ago)


or

Craftsman Professional Use 22-Piece Metric Black Oxide Combination Wrench Set for $99

I believe these Craftsman are the Made in USA variety. I'd probably get those without a doubt if they were chrome, I'm not sure how much I'll like the black oxide. What do people think.

Are there any other 22 piece sets I should look at in this price range?

Armstrong of course. Same shiatsu. Crraftsman industrial if in that price range. Not sure if they're the "same" wrenches but...they're solid wrenches. Warranty is just as much as a p.i.t.a. as gearwrench is gonna be.

If you're a wrench guy maybe buy something better but I think the armstrong/craftsman industrial are gonna be good enough for most guys. Snap on if you can afford them of course...or any of the truck if you got a good relationship with the truck guy.

How are the beams on those beauties (SK), are they thick?

Much thicker than Snap-On but a little thinner than Wright. Comparable to old USA Craftsman Pro but shorter in length and more nicely shaped. Same set's been my go to for ages.
