I am in the market for a new trouble light, I am a mechanic and I use a headlamp most of the time, but there are times when a static light works better.
I want some thing that works really well, i dont want to have to buy a second one.
I have been looking at some models from snap on, but I am still open to other ideas.

this is the first light i am looking at, a mechanic at work has one. it has a magnetic base and articulates, which seems like it would be the more usefull then just the hooks to hang from. it is also the cheapest.
the second one i am looking at is http://buy1.snapon.com/catalog/item...roup_ID=675910&store=snapon-store&dir=catalog
i was playing with one on the truck and it is very bright and i like the "tone" of the light, its also not really any more expensive then the bluepoint one, if it had a magnetic base, i probably would have bought it.
the last one was http://buy1.snapon.com/catalog/item...roup_ID=675910&store=snapon-store&dir=catalog
the bulb seemed similar to the other snap on light and i liked the handle and charging cradle better then the previous lights, but i dont understand why its seems to be twice as expensive as the other lights. If it is that much better i might consider.
some of the key featues i need.
- must be very bright i like to be able to see very well
- the more versatile the better
-would prefer a charging cradle instead of a cord
Oh i have not seen the light pattern of the bluepoint light, my fellow mechanic has an older version with different leds in it
thanks
