I apologize that I haven't done an intro here, but some of you may recognize me from the HAMB. I'm building a shop in the spring for mild business use, and a big toy shop for my own. I'm a journeyman auto mechanic by trade and have a sickness for messing with old cars. The shop will be 60' wide by 64' deep, with a 12' by 64' lean to for an office, bathroom and parts storage. If anyone can think of anything I should incorporate prior to my concrete, I'd love to hear the ideas. The shop will be heated with in floor heat from an outdoor boiler, and have a diesel furnace for backup and extra heat in the wash bay area. Take a look at the drawing I've made and see what you think should be added. Just to briefly explain a couple things in the pic. The blue dots are 2" square tubing mounted in the floor that I can attach a moveable winch, vise, drill press, etc, etc to. The black dots are 4" square tubing (with a cross bolt welded inside it) mounted in the floor to allow me to use to pull down towards the floor (straightening tractor loader etc). Thanks for any and all ideas.
