25 bucks can't get much. I don't mind spending extra to get something very useful, but not too much more. Sure, how could anyone answer this without knowing the tools I already have. But I figured what the hell, maybe you guys will suggest something cool.

So far I'm leaning towards some ratchet wrenches.

I know they sell Nite Ize carabiners. For hanging stuff off other stuff, if you have them you'll find a use.

I had a $25 dollar gift certificate for Canadian Tire and used it to buy a magnetic screwdriver holder for my box at home. Also got a magnetic bit holder for my box at work.

Lots of xmas decorations marked down 75% right now. I was eyeballing some of the big (7 foot plus) Mickey, minion, snoopy, etc inflatables. They were about $35, but none available in my local stores. Paying for shipping reduced the savings for me. Ymmv.

Lowes is such a big store, and you need suggestions? Got to be something every household needs that you need.

Batteries
Light bulbs
Paper towels
Duct tape
Nails, screws
Paint
A mop, a broom, a squeegee ?

Jack of all trades master of none. This week I replaced a starter in a friends jeep, then at work replaced leaf springs on a shasta camper trailer and did metal fab for a 76 jeep CJ7, and this weekend I'm patching and painting the neighbors ceiling.

Automotive usually fills the weeks primarily.

Good suggestions guys. Too bad its not to Home Depot (better tool selection).

The new Kobalt mini head ratchets (Taiwan) are really nice. 72 tooth count, lever switches in the proper direction. They are QR but the button is recessed and beveled so it doesn't stick out but it's still easy to press. It's the best designed ratchet Lowe's has sold since Williams was the OEM and it's better than the Husky Apex stuff.

Some of the Southwire electrical tools are good. Their NCVs are a lot nicer than Kleins are and they're cheap.

Ideal pliers(might need to add some cash) and wire strippers.

Take a look at their Mechanix gloves, they clearance some models out pretty often, I normally bite at about $10.

AWP has some decent bags and totes, they're around $30-40

Gerber utility knife and knife set should still be available and a lot of people like that set for the $20-25 price.

Irwin quick clamps.

Gator sanding products. Titebond wood glue. Gorilla glue. Fluke TL175 test leads. Swanson measuring and layout tools are good for Chinese made.

$25 towards a Rockwell jawhorse, everyone needs a jawhorse.

I think they still have the small Kobalt USA made (Danaher) 1/4 socket set online.

Add $25 to it, use a $10 off of $50 coupon code and buy whatever you want (Online for store pickup).

I'd probably just use it for buying some consumables like furnace filters, LED light bulbs, batteries, etc.

I guess the tool section wouldn't be too bad to spend the money on if there are holes in your tool box. Ratcheting wrenches are nice. Can't really go wrong with more screwdrivers. Or basics if you need them -- chalk box, stud finder, longer level.

Get a good pair of heavy duty scissors. I just bought a pair of Milwaukee scissors with a $25 gift card for Home Depot. I still have some of the card left for a candy bar and soda. I now have good scissors in the garage, my electrician's tool box (milk case) and my carpenter's tool bucket.

What’s the stock number for the Kobalt 1/4 Socket set above?
