I received a doerr 2 go dual voltage motor to replace an older 2hp
The tag has 2 wiring diagrams which I'm assuming left is for 115v and right is for 230v.
The tape tape and line designation confuses me.
I think it was wired for 115v I need to rewire to 230v
If I understand correctly
T8 T3 T2 go to one hot leg
T5 T4 go to other hot leg
What is P1 & P28e014608dbf63f52bffa7bf03717081e.jpg

For 230vac connection:
Connect L1 (your supply line) to P1
Wirenut P2 by itself
Wirenut T2, T3, T8 together
Connect L2 (your supply line) to T4, T5
Ground to motor frame

To change rotation – interchange T5 and T8

Line is your incoming power.

Tape simply means connect together, use wirenut or whatever method you are using for the rest of your connections. As said above I'm sure the term tape is a leftover from the old days.
