Ok it was a dumb question :spit: I was just curious as why 4/0 4/0 2/0AL is required to feed the house from the breaker at 200amp. but not to feed my 200amp. meter?

The power company doesn't follow the NEC.

They size their wire to the load, where as the NEC says you have a 200 amp breaker, you need 200 amp wire regardless.
