I am a GM/Jeep CJ-5 guy. So my son brings home a 98 Explorer...AAArgh!! It seems to have a huge vacuum leak, but no sucking sound? Is there a valve I should look for? should I just pull and replace all vac lines?

P.S....I tho't about titling this "Dora doesn't ****"

It is solved, fixed, and on the road!

The pcv valve hose is notorious for splitting open. Near the firewall, very hard to see. The house will feel soft and gummy

First suggestion would be a tall cliff! Second would be al the great experience here on the GJ. Try the explorer forums for how-to write ups and pics. My brother has the same explorer I have worked on some. I am impressed with time those guys spend on how to guides, etc.
I will say with a basic set of rebuilt heads, a $100 U pull it ****** three years ago, and some shocks, that thing is running strong for 250k miles.
