Help! Multiuse bench, with quick swap. Show me yours

I have an 8x2 foot outdoor bench that I use for messy projects.

I set it up with three sections 4ft, 2ft non-removable and 2ft that lifts out to make an outfeed table for my chop saw.


Right now I clamp my grinder, buffer, vise... to the corner of the table. This is a multi-use table and I don't mind drilling holes adding/cutting as long as the different setup don't interfere with each other.
Now show me your setups.

I see that you have wood attached to most of your grinders/vises. I want to do a similar setup. Any advice or pictures on your setup?

Thanks for noticing that. I mounted both grinders and 2 vises to wood cause it made it easier to clamp down wherever I choose to use it. I tend not to like things bolted on bench such as grinders and vises but I did bolt 3 of the vises down bit still have 2 on wood still to use anywhere. I havnt decided yet on a system but was thinking bench dogs like a wood worker or on the heavy gray table of making 2 reciever hitches on each side of drawer so when use a grinder or vise I can mount and remove. I did at one point had a 2 x4 mounted on grinders and used vise to clamp them down. That wouldn't be bad idea with carpenters vise for your set up.

If you look through think part 1 you'll see my welding/ mutli use table I built. I did cut it up cause it was great it took up a lot of room and was heavy. Then there was cut down version with tool box and now that also cut up. I will be using that flip idea on but on my roll chest one for welding and other just made of wood. I just ran out of space for a big table like you have and found smaller tables work better for my space. After all the years of tables and benches I've made I find that mounting vises and grinder and other tools such chop saws on wood and clamping them down I find to be easiest way. There was a table with like a say 16x16 square cut out of top and all tools mounted to wood you could clamp down in the place and rack that held all the tools. Below it what I use as my current heavy table/ welding and it on casters and had it out welding in new drawer to mount so can fab up a reciever hitch idea to that's better than clamps.
