My father recently passed away, he was a lifelong auto mechanic that owned his own shop. I just spent the last eight weeks taking on the monumental task of cleaning out the shop he's owned since 1993. I've found a few tools that I have no idea what they are and wondering if anyone here can help.

I still have to get photos of all of them but here's the first. It's clearly homemade but also well made, squared off on the bottom, with a universal joint.

I've always called them dezus fasteners. Did he drag race or work on race cars? They are popular for attaching panels you want removable.

There is a difference between an AIrloc and a Dzus. Airloc's have a cross pin for locking into the receptacle, while Dzus generally uses a slit to lock onto a spring wire. There are a number of variations on head styles and drive systems for both. The Airloc design has morphed into a number of variations for different industries, but still uses a stud and cross pin arrangement for locking.

I don't think a Dzus tool I've posted it on several tool forums and the same thing keeps happing whatever the first person says everyone else just agrees haha. But each forum has come up with different things the most popular one is that it's a valve seat cutting tool.

But moving on anyone know what this tiny slide hammer is for? It taps down not back like a normal slide hammer and has a few different screw on ends.
