Help ! Need a cheap mat or pad for under car

I have a car port where I park my 200k mile Buick that drips some oil and sometimes some gas ! We all know what happens to my blacktop. I did use a rubber backed industrial carpet runner under it and it worked ok but got soaked with water in the winter.

Now if I had a rubber mat that wouldnt be slippery or something...dont wanna spend alot

get an old pet crate tray or maybe a lid off of a plastic storage container and fill it with plain kitty litter

Sears has closeouts on Michelin trunk mats (not online) for around $5-9 in the auto center if you're lucky enough to find one. May not be marked.

Naw I want something that lays flat like a truck bed mat and cover all under the car. Good idea though if I had just one spot

What you want is oil absorbent mat, there is a type that doesn't absorb water. Usually used for boats.

How about a dropping pan, just throw in some oil dry.

Maybe I'm crazy, but how about fixing the leaks? Leaking gas can't be a good thing.

$8 for a sheet of OSB. That is all I use under the leakers. If it gets windy enough to kick up a sheet of OSB I have other things to worry about!

not eaks more like drips sometimes. Try and fix EVERY drip n a car with 200k on it ...

AGAIN dont want a "pan" looking for more like a 4 x 10 ft rubber mat

Go to Lowe's then and get 2 entry mats. They are about 4x5ft.

naw they are 3ft x 5ft too narrow. I like the looks of the ones in our post office

Farm store and get a horse stall mat then. They come in up to 4x8 sheets I think. I know a few guys have used them for bed mats. Not slippery when wet (otherwise horse could fall).

Old Carpet works well. If you need you can also use it to work on. I find carpet good if I drop something that could get damaged. If you get oil on it then just start over with another piece.
