Hey everyone I need some feedback. I don’t work on my cars often (just here and there) but want sufficient garage lighting. Looking at the max light 48” strips with LED bulbs as seen on here often. Can anyone suggest a layout with the least amount of lights for the best coverage?

I can’t post pics yet since I just signed up but the garage is 4 cars wide and double deep on 1/2.

Thank you!

I have been looking through the layout pinned post but didn’t see what I was looking for.... many had lighting overkill. I want good lighting but not overkill.

Thank you!

Wrong way to do this. You want to determine the amount of light needed in the space and how it needs to be distributed first. From there, you select fixtures with the output level, color temp and rendition index that will provide the desired light levels.

Mirror every surface and point a nice large carbon arc search light in the door and it's then lit with a single light.....:spit:
