My work is having a silent auction to get rid of some old equipment, two notable pieces are a propane powered lincoln weldanpower 150. its seen better days, it was used for a while, then sat dormant for 15 years or so, not sure how often it was run in between because the plant purchased a newer propane lincoln to replace it and never did anything with it, so it sat in a storage area for a while. it's a complete machine, but most likely needs a complete overhaul before trying to fire it up again, has leads and everything.
the other is a jet end mill pretty sure it is close to a jmd-18. single phase wired for 110v. operates perfectly but the 2 axis base needs to be disassembled and cleaned out. comes with quick collets of many sizes.
there is no starting bid, but its silent so you can loose something by a dollar and not know it. the bonus is that it's open to everybody but only a few people know what the stuff is really worth, and a lot of good old vintage items that go up for silent auction in the plant go for dirt cheap because people don't pay attention to the message boards or even care for "old junk".
don't have any pictures of them right now, didn't think to take pics of nameplates and information before they got stuck away for the auction, i may go to the storage area and grab some pics before the auction happens so i can strategize how much i should realistically bid.
thanks.
