Hello,

I am new here, and was wondering if any would please help me identify this adjustable wrench that Adam Savage is using in one of his videos on his "Tested" Channel on Youtube.

The video is titled, "Adam Savage's One Day Builds: Giant Nut and Bolt!"

youtube(dot)com/98MCz9gQaiE (it won't let me post the full link)

The wrench can clearly be seen at the 15:21 mark (in this video) laying on his lathe. It has this unusual curvy handle to it.

Does anyone know what Make/model of wrench this is? :dunno:

Thanks for looking..

Looks vaguely familiar, but I can't place it... the handle looks like cast aluminum.

Yeah, it does.

But, Adam is known for adding labels, stickers, markings to things that he makes. Making something new look old by aging and/or weathering it is kind of his thing.. So, it is possible that he made the handle.

Still, I have a feeling that he bought it somewhere (like a flea market since he is always talking about scrounging for stuff), and that he has owned it for years..

It could also be a rubber grip that was added.
You might want to comment on the video and ask him?

Edit to add that you might be able to page through the 37 pages in the SHOW YOUR ADJUSTABLE tread and see if you can spot a match.

Thanks for the suggestion.

Adam doesn't reply to Youtube videos. Norm, who co-founded Tested(dot)com replies in the comments of their videos. There is no way that he is going to ask him.

I also asked Adam on Twitter - no response.

It's probably that Ergonomic handled adjustable wrench by Westward. The only problem is... it's discontinued. Ugh.

I have one of those....somewhere. It's NOT the Westward. It's some no-name thing that I think came from... walmart???

I recall that it has a greenish-gold color (paint)
