help needed on da sander spec to get 3/32?

Hi guys I do some body work here at home and wanted to get some tools together.

I currently have the hutchins profinisher in 500 series which is 3/32 cut and love it.

was thinking to get the next spec up
which is the 600 series at 3/16 cut for more faster cuts to have along with my current 500 series.

question is does one need to get the 700 series too which is 5/16"

just like to hear your thoughts if I should spend the money or not

I would say it depends on what you are doing. The orbit sizes determine what it is best at doing. Are you mostly feathering out body filler, are you sanding where you're going to base coat, or are you wet sanding clear before you polish?

more towards body work.

general sanding the 3/32 is fine. for polishing i have all kinds of electric buffers etc so I am good there

I have about 8 sanders from several manufactures and I just grab whatever one has the paper I'm looking for already on it. I use a 8" ND for aggressive removal. It only gets 36 grit paper. I use a 6" ND for regular filler work which is usually pretty rough paper. I have a 3/32 Dynabrade that I use for clear coat which is usually wet and usually over 1000 grit and then I just grab for anything in between. I honestly don't know what orbit they are and I really can't tell the difference.
