Hey guys new here

I just bought a home with a couple of outbuildings and I’m in need of advice and outside thoughts for what to do here. My plans with the shed are to work on cars. Change oil, weld stuff redo a classic pickup maybe a race car etc. I like to tinker.

The building is 25x40. My whole property is on a side hill and when the original owner built this shed they laid the slab at 2 different heights and a wall separating the 2 sides. It appears the footing was all one pour. My problem is I want the 2 slabs 1 level. Roughly 12 inches of height difference between the 2. Do I cut out one side and have it re poured to the other side. Or have one side laid on top of the current concrete.

Next problem. I’m not a fan of the garage doors. Obviously laying of the concrete is going to cause me to have to re do one or the other. However the overhead doors are on the length side of the building. Which means when I pull a vehicle in to work on and shut the doors it’s very tight. So I’m thinking I’d like to remove the loft and put an overhead door in on the width side. Maybe it’s not worth it. Maybe I add on to the width of the building instead?

I added pictures for reference. Previous owner hasn’t moved everything out yet.
