Help! New Memeber . . . Hydraulic Jack question

I've got a 2.5 ton jack which was bought from First Jefferson Tool Company, Inc. many years back.

It wasn't working and I took the ram to a hydraulic shop, they said it wasn't worth fixing because it was a cheap Japanese jack. Then they "lost" my hydraulic unit. This was years back.

I still have the jack and have been trying to find a replacement unit. I stumbled over this forum last night while searching.

The jack is one of those orange and white ones you see everywhere. Standard color scheme maybe? The jack is in great condition and I hate throwing stuff away.

Question: Is it possible to find replacement hydraulic units for these jacks?

Thanks for any help!

I had been hanging on to one of those orange and white ones for a few years. This fall I finally threw it out. It was only $70 to replace it with another.

Lost your jack? Lol... Probably gonna be money and time ahead just bite the bullet and purchase a New unit, even if you did find a replacement unit they generally fetch more individually than the entire jack cost New.

Good luck..
