I inherited an old drill press and band saw when I bought my house from my grandparents. Can anyone tell me if these are worth anything?I have no clue if they work. My basement being renovated and they need to go. The guys working for me drool over them but can’t take them.

They’re not “ultra collectible” if that is your question.
Desirability of power tools is heavily dependent on location, since they’re heavy and problematic to ship.
The tools aren’t “industrial” either, so they’re not the kind of thing an industrial tool dealer would be interested in, unless they keep a corner for hobbyist stuff.
The bandsaw is likely worth more than the drill press, but a few hundred bucks give or take is probably what they’re worth, depending on location.
If the tools are 120v it would be better for the average homeowner.

I can see why their eyes are drooling, finding good old quality machines that are not made in China are worth having. I myself like the larger machines, but a home hobbyist, person would enjoy them.
