Help On Laminating PVC Trim

I need to laminate two AZEK trim boards to get the 1-1/2" x 2-1/2" profile for finishing off the bottom of some columns.

Can I glue the rough wood grain sides together or must it be the smooth sides?

I would imagine you could use either side. With the grain side it would still have at least what 80% of contact. With pvc glue that would be more then enough Just make sure you have plenty of clamps ready.
