Help Please

Hi everyone,

I am putting down epoxy in my garage. I went with Wolverine coatings. I bought the supplies in June and had them stored in a spare bedroom at my house at a temp about 70 degrees. I finally got around to putting the floor down. Yesterday I put down the bondtite primer, and today it looks great. I am about to start the liquatile, but when I opened the 3 gallon container of part A there is about an inch of thick sludge at the bottom. So I opened one of the 1 gallon containers of Part A and same thing, the one gallon container is also only half full. Can someone tell me if this is normal? Or do I have a bad batch? Im literally about to mix part A and B, so if someone could let help me out ASAP I would appreciate it.

It has partially crystallized. If and only if this is 100 percent solids( verify before attempting), you can do the following, but be careful.

Outside, set-up a camp stove or hot plate. Place your crystallized can inside a larger pot, lid off. fill approx 1/3 of the pot with water. Has to be in this double-boiler set-up or you will ruin it. Heat should be on LOW.

Warm the epoxy and stir occasionally. Do not leave it unattended and remove as soon as the solids are reconstituted.

Allow to come back to room temp before trying to mix.

As a precaution, I would call Wolverine before trying this as I don't know how they formulate.

Thanks Legacy. I didn't see your post in time and went ahead and just used the portions of part A that were still liquid. there was enough to cover the floor. It seems ok so far. It is 100% solids. Think I am going to run into problems?
