I have decided to buy a Bendpak XPR10A . I am going to drill the concrete floor to determine the thickness before I order it. I would like to make the test hole in the location of one of the permeant anchor holes. Can anyone help with the dimmentions of the base plate so I can lay it out and mark where one of the holes will be. Thanks

I finally have the Bendpak XPR10A LP in my shop and starting the installation, I am trying to position the posts and would like any suggestions on how to measure the distance between the posts. The picture below is how I am trying to do it. I am placing a straight edge on the outsides of both posts and measuring from one to the other. Is this an acceptable method ?.

Are you doing the wide configuration???

Page 4 of the download manual that Steevo posted shows the measurements.

I would measure inside to inside without all the squaring sticks. Just use a tape measure......... I think it said 103 1/16 on page 4 for the wide setup.... read it for yourself to make sure.

A pair of long, straight, bars...boards, etc will let you know that the posts are not turned improperly. You got the right idea............

Randy I am positioning in the wide configuration. In the manual that came with it the outside measurements are supposed to me 145 with the drive thru 106. I cannot discern exactly where this (Drive thru) measurment is taken from.

Each floor plate is 21" wide, the space between the floor plates is 103 1/16,.
This adds up to 145 1/16 total width to the outside of the floor plates.

Set like that...it leaves you with 106" between the upright posts.....no to the inside of the platesm, which is the 103 1/16.

You have 106 to "drive through..between the posts. Study that drawing at the bottom of page 4..the fog will clear... : )

When the floor plates are mounted correctly the posts will be 106 apart... the 106 is not what you use to set them..only a good double check before you drill for the second post.
