Help pricing Matco Tool Boxes for sale

What do you guys think would be fair prices for these tool boxes?
Big top drawer one is missing the key and one drawer doesn't lock.
Smaller drawers one is only 22"" deep and needs some slides replaced. Also has some paint flaking on the bottom edge.

Not sure if you are buying or selling. In my opinion maybe both are worth 1000 total. You might want to check with Matco but it’s very possible you cannot even get replacement slides. If they are friction (not ball bearing) I would say they are worth less. Also boxes always seem to look better in pictures then they do in person. If they were snap-on I would say they are worth more. Also Snap-on seems to more often then not have parts for older boxes.

Slides are available for "Big top drawer one" Box is equivalent to a 4s. $500-$1000 each?

I had Mac boxes wish I never sold them. They're really nice boxes. That said I'd give a serious look at HF before you spend alot on some used boxes. Mine are Snap-on and I'm thinking about trading (up/down?) to HF. They're bigger and much less expensive. Never would have said that a couple years ago.

So I would say the small box that needs work is around $500-750. 22" deep is a bummer.

The other box is better. Performance Series which is the predecessor to the 4S (yours is). In my area, $1000 to $1500 maybe.

The average 4S that looks like yours seem to offered at $2500 or so.

Thanks guys. I've got them priced at $1000 and $800. Shot myself in the foot about a year ago when someone offered me $1200 for the Proformance and I declined (I wasn't looking to .

The reason I'm looking at selling them is because I actually picked up a US General gen 1 44" box with top box and side locker and I think I'd rather go that route and have the cash.
