Hello All..

So I'm building a built in compressor alongside the tool cabinets and want to mount the tank and regulated air pressure dials on the face of the cupboard it's going in.. no problems so far..

I planed to just unscrew the dials and add extended airlines to the back of them, sort of remote mounting. when I unscrewed them from the main distribution block I was left with the block full of white corrosion in the aluminium threads and pipes.

My question is can this part be soaked in anything that will dissolve the white powdery corrosion, the size of this place and the varied hobbies and vehicles I figured there must be someone who has had this and solved the problem ..

Thanks in advance. :)

Put part you want to clean in a heated ultrasonic cleaner add some citranox and the part should clean up.

be careful with heat and amount of chemical. the color of the part you are clean will probably change a little.

Citranox is a great and very useful product.
