It's that time of the year again, I've got roaches/water bugs that come in. Anything have a product that works great at killing them?

I use Ortho Home Defense as well here in Phoenix.
I spray every three months inside and outside the garage.
Seems to do a good job.
Mostly trying to control crickets as crickets feed scorpions

I had a similar problem. I found some trap ideas on YouTube.
Take some jars and oil up the inside of the jar about halfway from the top down. Put about 1/2 teaspoon of peanut butter in the bottom of the jar. When the bugs smell the peanut butter they drop inside and can’t get out because of the oil. I was amazed how many I caught. You might try different baits if peanut butter isn’t working for you.

Spread BOROX around where the floor meets the walls. it worked in mine building in a damp area.

I use Cyper WSP (Cypermethrin). I spray around the shop, both outdoors and indoors at the base of the walls, probably 3-4 times per year. This stuff murders everything. Even if a bug makes it into the shop, it's going to be dead in short order. Works on scorpions.

I would not use it where I'm near a lake or water shed, it's toxic as heck to amphibians.

I use Bifenthrin 7.9% to spray the house and garage. The quart bottle is $30 and I can make up to 32 gallons with it.
I think it's an ounce per gallon of water.
I get it at TSC, way cheaper than buying a gallon of ortho for $15 that only has 0.05% bifenthrin

When I lived in Hawaii, I learned about Jhonstons No Roach.

It was made from a Daisy that is a natural repellent.
I painted grid lines on my floors and many roaches died in between the grid lines.
