I have a Woden No. 00 (2.25 inch jaws) i cant seem to find any replacements that small online. I believe its the exact same as the Record No. 00, but no luck searching for either. Im willing to pay to have some made if they cant be bought already made.

They are not hard to make. What is the size of the jaw inserts? McMaster-Carr has bar stock in many sizes that will work as is (such as 1/2" x 3/4"), then all you have to do is cut off, drill, and countersink for the screws. I have made inserts in aluminum, brass, and UHMW.

Do you plan on using it or just looking at it? I'd go with smooth copper.

Where in Canada are you? I have a record 00 and can check the size. Gray Tools of Canada vises are the same as Record and the jaws should be the same. I've made them for my vises also but usually use brass or aluminum with no knurling.

Dorset. England.
I don't think Record even make the 00 size anymore.
I would make them and have them smooth faced anyway.
The genuine ones almost always break around the screws, there isn't enough metal around the size of screw they used. I have bought a couple 00 sized vices with just one good plate fo really cheap as they are so common like that.
