Help Stop Spam

The golden rules here on the GJ.

1, Report all spammers. If the spammer has multiple posts just report the one post and state multiple spam posts by this spammer in your report message. (otherwise you will be forever sending reports).

2, Never quote a spammer. (OK not easy). Anything with the dreaded Red X is a dead give away as a spam post.

3, Never post you have reported a spammer otherwise you may also end up on a banned list with the spammer. That means never reply to the post. Please use the report button to open a message box that will allow you to send information to Admin and the Mods so they can delete the post you have reported. The report button is located under the members details you wish to report.

If in doubt PM the Admin or a Mod for help.

YOU SHOULD NOT:
1. Reply to the post in any way. Don't reply with a cute comment. Don't reply with "reported." Etc... Just don't reply to spam posts. That's what they want you to do.

2. Worst of all, don't reply to spam and QUOTE it.

3. Click on anything in the spam post.

A reminder please to use the REPORT button and please DO NOT reply to a SPAM post.

Please do not reply to a SPAM post with reported. All you are doing is promoting what ever the topic is about. We do not need SPAM posts at the top of the forum topics.

Putting this back on top again as many are responding to SPAM posts and we do not need SPAM posts kept at the top of the page with links that can often be not safe to follow.

Edit: If you can not report the SPAM post then leave it alone but PLEASE do not reply to SPAM posts.

Just an update: Some of the links look like they are to places to watch sport online. They are not and lead to suspect sites and Trojan attacks on your computer.

Update: July 2019.

I have noticed new members joining with suspect locations and no posts asking for Friend Requests. If you get one of these and you are doubtfull about them hit the report button or send a PM to Admin or any of the Mods.

If you spot a simple post like this "+1" and the member has a single digit post count, either report it as it's more than likely spam, report it or you can shoot me a PM with a link to the post. I'll try to take care of it.
