I installed 2 Dayton commercial ceiling fans:

The problem I have is to get them to spin slower so in the winter I am moving my warm air down, but not creating too much of a breeze.
I have 16' ceiling.

I have a friend who put the same ones in, and bought the recommended speed control (to the right on the grainger page) but it spins them too fast. I tried a controler my neighbor had sitting around, and it too is too fast.

any suggestions would be appreciated.

Thanks for the reminder - I have to get a new controller for my 2 fan setup.. it hums at less than max speed.

I'm looking at these:

I'm going to order the reversible one today and will re-post when I get it hooked up.
