Help to ID tool

I picked up this tool today. I have seen a lot of old tools but not this one. It have the 2 razor blades in it when I got it but am sure they are not original due to hole config. That said the 2 plates come off each side to slip some sort of blade behind them.

The 2 wings have different size slots like a spoke wrench. The one wing is threaded for a bolt as shown. The wings are ¼” thick. Well built tool.

The only marking is NO1 on the casting. It has the same feel and type of casting of the Stanley spoke shaves I have had. Stand alone tool or part of a tool???

No idea.. pretty cool and very purposeful and built for a specific purpose.. just think of the time it took to make the pattern for that casting... whow....

It looks like it could be for splitting leather belting. Just a guess.

Its not a 'tool', but a part or attachment for some sort of machine, going by the slotted adjustable mounting points.

One might envision some sort of edge trimming in leather work, possibly in boot and shoe making????

It's part of a fibre board plane,Stanley 193ish.

And the winner is "couchSpring". I collect Stanley planes and have a 194 but I did not recognize this part off the 193. I knew it felt like a Stanley part. Thank You.

What did I win? Odd ball planes aren't they, I've never seen one in person.
