Can someone identify what this is for me? I acquired a pair of them on a Electrical contractor auction but I Can't find anything online,
Any information you can provide me would be greatly appreciated.

I've got a guess. Is it something that you would ******** to a long utility or light pole to then mount a oversized/long load warning flag?

Yes that make sense,, Someone else told me that they are use to install light fixtures but still can't find anything about them.

OK i'll go fist.

the strap goes under your chin and the orange part goes on top of your head, then you mount a pointed pole in it.

It's used by paraplegics for horseless jousting.

WAG. Might be to strap a transformer on to a lift bucket truck?

Actually, the I think it's for transporting pipes or poles.

You drop the thing on a post/rod.
Lay the pipe or pole in the cradle where the rubber is.
Lash it down the nylon strap
