I find this tool interesting. I have and regularly use for my job a Cully brand Megaproof 16in1 screwdriver that looks very much like the OP's picture but without a cool comfort/ergo handle. Same bit storage in the handle and all.
All mine says is what's listed above as well as Made In The USA and Pat.# 5,265,504

Is there any relation between the 2? It sure looks like it to me.

I'm checking back into this thread to see what everybody else has called it. It really doesn't matter what you call it, I'm sure most who buy one will call it "Missing" or "Stolen".

Honestly, I think "Stolen" might be a good name for it. Along with my marketing slogan.... .

Drive it like it's Stolen

Dodeca-Drive Blue and Dodeca-Drive Black

'Dodec' is the prefix meaning 'twelve' in Greek and it has a nice ring to it.

"Bob" could possibly be a trademark owned by Microsoft. Wiki on Microsoft Bob. It was such a dismal failure, they may have no interest in it now.

I'm thinking "Megapro Grip-it" for the new pair, and one called Grip-it Multi and the other Grip-it Tamperproof.

I'm from Vancouver Island. You're almost a neighbour. Glad to see a BC company producing new products. Best of luck.

JASdriver.

Just Another Screwdriver.

Sorry, looks like any other inexpensive bit driver to me, except it's Made In Canada so I suppose that carries some weight to those who care :)

Geez, your driver selection is actually pretty interesting. I may have spoke too soon... the rest appear to be some neat products!

Made in BC - good to hear!

I use your products from time to time, the tamper proof one is awesome.

My suggestions are:

The MegaPro Bruiser - Black Ops
The MegaPro Bruiser - Blue Collar

Bruiser is for the colours, black ops for security and blue collar is for the everyday jobs.

Shipping won't be too bad as I am only about 6 hours North of you.:beer:

Amateurs!!!

Uma, to properly name the product, it would have to be held ( for weight and balance), inspected (for craftmanship and quality) and used extensively (so I could get some stuff done around the garage).

I would have to compare it to your other products to see if it would truly compliment your entire line of tools, then and only then would I be able to properly name your product.

thanks for asking... The complete handle - over mold, retractable cartridge and cap are made in Canada, BC, Pitt Meadows. The Shaft is made in USA and is from our manufacturer in South Bend Indiana. We make our other 'hard' handle drivers in the USA. The tested S2 steel HRC 60+/- 2 double end 2" inch bits with a spring loaded ball bearing are made in Taiwan.

we're cool with answering COO info. here's our number if you want to hear a voice 1.866.522.3652

Thank you everyone for your suggestions!! Many great choices.

We have a winner. Kudos to KnurledNut for the winning name!

We will be coming out with the Megapro True Grip (blue cap) and the Megapro True Grip Tamperpoof (black cap).
It's awesome to be able to talk to you directly and get your input on garage journal. Great community here and we really appreciate what you have to say.

many many thanks!
