Hello everyone.
I've never use a forum before and I tought I could give it a try.
I just found an old 3/8 Snap On Ratchet(F-710B) in my basement. Sadly the center part was missing. I decide to call snap on to ask if it was possible to order replacement part. They told me that they were not the one that was manufacturing it and that they don't carry spare part. They gave me the number of the original manufacturer. I call em and told me they dont keep replacement part since they would just change the whole rathcet if something happen.

My question is : Can i order an other ratchet replacement part to be able to use it? if so, which ratchet.

Thank you very much
Sorry for my english(its not my first language)

You need repair kit# RKRAF730.

You also need the special tool# SPP744 for compressing the ball tipped spring.

Get the repair kit above it is the one I have rebuilt a few of those. Is it made in Canada perhaps it might explain your troubles but it is a common ratchet here in U.S. they made them by the tens of thousands but a Canadian one is a different story but it's the same in every way so the parts will fit good luck.

look for a snap-on truck in your neighborhood. if possible stop and wait patiently while he bullshits and waits on his professional mechanic customers. When he's done with his customer, show him your wrench and tell him it belonged to your grand-pere. Ask him if you can buy replacement parts from him. If you're lucky he'll fix it for you right there. Offer to pay him if he fixes it. If he refuses, reach into the trunk of your car for a six pack of top quality beer or very good wine and give it to him as a token of your gratitude. Take his card and buy tools from him when/if you can.

Buy the SP744 in bulk. Give them away as stocking stuffers. At .89/ea, you can't go wrong!

Hello everyone! Things didn't go so well finally. I ordered the kit and the small tool for less than 9$ Canadian. Unfortunately, the kit didn't fit inside. I still thank you all for you help!

No tool required anymore, they updated the part where at most you can use a pocket screwdriver now.
