Hello everyone! I'm new to this forum and this is my first post.

My grandfather recently gave me a lot of old tools that he hd acquired over his life. There were some pretty interesting things in here (fence pliers, lathing hatchet, frearson screwdrivers, walworth stillson wrenches, etc.).

But here is one thing I have no clue what is or what to even type into google. So I need some help! the handle appears to be a simple Skroozon file handle.

Any help would be appreciated. Like I said I'm clueless as to what this could be.

Old soldering iron, You would put it in a fire to get hot and run it across your solder to melt it. I've seen a couple of them but don't have one.
