Got this tool and dont know what it is

Marked on one side "Weaver WG"
other side says "M8-2/0 T8-2/10

I don't know, but I'd like to venture a guess......
Looks like something for electric distribution wires.

Sorta what Malibu said- looks like for adding a support point to a wire rope- cable- possibly to support an electrical/communications cable below. Similar to ones I use, but more elaborate=expensive.

That explains it. Anything over 120V give me the shivers.
