I just finished putting VCT in my garage.

I dont want to wax on a regular basis so I was wondering what you did to seal your VCT.

I am open to suggestions.

I used Excelon floor polish (5 coats) from Home depot. It turned out okay. Not as much shine as I would have liked and lots of bubbles. Bubbles were might fault from not using the right mop. Dont use a sponge mop!!!

I just had some professionals come out and strip and wax the floor. They used iShine. It looks great, although I am having it redone again as I found lots of dried bits of polish in the finish. The owner of the company is having it redone at no cost to me.

Only problem is the maintainance. I did not realize you need to have it constantly burnished and waxed to keep the high shine. I am looking to strip the floor again and coat it with epoxy or urethane.

Attached a pic of mine before I waxed.

Where did you buy this from and how much did it cost you? I am having trouble finding a fair price for everything I need

VCT purchased from Menards - but Home Depot and Lowes all carry it. Armstrong Excelon. Varies between $ 0.68 regular price and $ 0.58 on sale.

I ended up using the Wolverine BondTite with an anti-slip.

Believe me - I could NOT be happier with the results. Fred is a great resource.

Can you post a pic or two? I have VCT and like the look of it waxed, does yours really shine like a waxed floor and do you expect it to stay that way?
