help wiring a hanging shop lamp

so i have been in the process of making these little skull bulb covers and want something nicer than a cheap shop lamp setup from the hardware store. does anyone have a source for porcelain outlets that will take the weight of hanging and will be easy to wire up? i also would like to use cloth covered wire if possible. is ebay my only option? it would be nice if i could just find it allready wired up and i could just put my shade on and plug it in. http://www.thatcherworks.blogspot.com/2012/01/box-skull-lamp.html

They will not have cloth covered cords but HD has a display (At least at the local store) of pendant fixtures & one is just a cord & lampholder.
