Help Wiring My Air Compressor

I lost my wiring diagram when I pulled the compressor out of my old shop
and am trying to figure it out... this is what I have... its a 5hp Leland-Faraday
motor 230V, 24.5 amp 1 phase, 3 capacitors type KD, stock number XM-005B... the thing
is that the power went into a box(switch box) that also has a relay in it...
there are 5 wires going down to the motor junction box... 3 are large(maybe
a #8 wire) and 2 smaller wires. I assume the smaller wires hook up to the relay
but I dont know here...... help would sure be appreciated

You didn't mention the brand of air compressor, but if it's not too old you may be able to go to the company's website and get a replacement wiring diagram.

its a old Johnwood compressor... I dont see them around anymore
