Wondering if anyone might be able to help me find an online scan of an owner's manual for a Montgomery Ward Edger, Model 37654C, or determine who the original manufacturer is, and if there's a manual around for it in another livery.

It's got a Briggs & Stratton "2.0 HP) engine with "Electronic Ignition"

I'm trying to identify what might be broken on mine.

Here's what it looks like (not specifically mine, but the identical model):

Well, in general, I'd just like to have a reference for it - I'm OCD that way, I like having the documentation for the stuff I've got.

Past that, I was able to partially disassemble it to get at the belt and the blade, and I want to confirm that they're the correct parts for this.

The belt that was on it, that slips, is a 3L310W - 3/8" fractional horsepower V-Belt, 31", "armored/reinforced"

The blade that was on it was a 82-304, which I identified as a 8 3/8" length blade with a 1/2" center hole. I found an eBay seller with Ace 74151 blades said to replace the 82-304.

The replacement belt is a bit more snug, so that might resolve belt slipping issues.

The replacement blade is noticeably longer than the old blade, but that could just be overall weardown of the blade that was on it.

These replacement parts should be serviceable, but I'd still like to know what the "official" replacement spec is, and I was hoping for an overall parts list / diagram as well just to verify my work. After re-assembling it in what I believed was the reverse of disassembly, the engine-mounted belt drive puiley is contacting the belt shroud and sparking, so I obviously didn't re-assemble things correctly. Feels like a washer/spacer is missing, but I'm positive I didn't lose any parts, so I'll futz around with it some more, but, figured I'd check in with the folks here to see if anyone might be able to help in my search.
