I picked up this old engine analizer from a shop that closed down in Richmond Ca. It has all its leads and manuals. They of course said it worked fine, but you know... A buddy wanted to use his HEI equipped 67 Chevelle to test it out, and I couldnt get something just right on the display and was hoping someone could help me out?
While trying to get a read out on his car, we could only get the monitor to display one ignition pattern, not eight seperate patterns. I could not be positive if this display was all eight cylinder patterns combined, or if it was one cylider and not others. If it helps, when we operated the individual cylinder kills to look for rpm drop it seem very intermittant. For example say we killed the number two cylinder and there was a 200 rpm drop, then moved on to other cylinders and then came back to kill number two cylinder and there was no rpm drop.
I would love any advice on this tool.
Before any slams occur, please know that I bought this assuming it wouldnt work at all! I love vintage shop equipment lining my walls. (My garage now, but one day my shop!)

I believe Raster should display individual waveforms correct? I tried that setting and I did use the HEI adapter.
