Hey all,

I messed up my install of the HF auto compressor drain ( http://www.harborfreight.com/automatic-compressor-drain-kit-68244.html ), on my new HF compressor ( http://www.harborfreight.com/air-to...-cast-iron-vertical-air-compressor-61454.html ).

I was reading the part about installing the poly "t" fitting on the pressure switch, and cut the line for the pressure switch, not realizing that it was copper and this kit was setup for poly line.

You can see the small silver line that goes from the brass fitting on the tank to the small black pressure switch box.

So, my question is, where can I find the fitting that will allow me to use the poly line that came with the kit, to reconnect the pressure fitting I think it's either 1/8" or 1/4". The kit claims the line is 1/4", but then it also says it has a 1/8" t fitting.

The fittings that the pressure line needs to connect to is male, meaning a nut would have to go over top, with something to retain the poly line on the other end.

Ask harbor Freight where you got the compressor. They may sell or send you one for free. They have great customer service!

I would call customer service and see if you can order a replacement Unloader Tube, thats what the manual calls it.

I have had really good experiences with calling and getting replacements

I appreciate those suggestions, but I need to install the auto drain somehow, and the T fitting needs to connect to poly. Or I buy a new t fitting.

Lowe's, Ace and Home Depot should have the 45° flare to compression Tee.

Ok, I finally got to lowe's and got the parts I need. One side, I got working perfectly. The second, is a different size. I believe it is 1/8", because the 1/4" fitting will just slide on without even engaging the threads. i can't seem to find a 1/8" fitting anywhere. I tried using the one that was on the compressor already, but i don't have a compression sleeve, so the hose just popped out.

Does anyone know where I can get the parts I need?
