Help with Chas Parker Date vise

Hello, This is actually the first time I've used this site even though I registered awhile back. There is some great info out here and I'm slowly learning how to use it. I hope this message reaches someone who can help. I have a few vises, and my collection is slowly growing. I just picked up a Charles Parker 953-1/2. I'm curious if anyone knows more about this one, which catalog to research to find out more and how to identify the manufacturing date. Or if you know about when it was "probably" made. When I get these old vises and restore them, I like to create a document that tells as much about it as I can. Maybe one day this will all turn into a website or something for me. Anyway, appreciate the help.

I would guess 1940's or so? The earlier models had a rounded nose on the spindle, although I'm really not sure when they changed the design. Here is a clip from a 1942 catalog showing your model.

Hello Gents I'm also an FNG here on the journal! Actually I just signed up to hopefully find out a little bit of info about a Parker No.1 vise that rescued as I seen the garbage man across the street from my house struggling with something that had some weight to it so I ran across the street to help him just in time so see what it was and hollered at him to to get his attention because obviously he is a bone head and had it hoisted up shoulder high getting ready to heave it into the back of the garbage truck! As he turned with a surprised look on his face I grabbed ahold of it and yanked it out of his hands! And it pulled him off balance a little too and with a shocked look on his face he says oh you wanted that! By then obviously I knew that it was an old vise and it clearly looked intact and I said I don't know if I want it or not but somebody damn sure will! And if you had any sense at all you would know thats not something you just throw in the trash! So I took it home and wire brushed the hell out of it and this is what it looks like!
