Found this on a local add for 15$. Is this made in USA ? It looks like it has some age to it!

When did they start with the plastic sets? The stuff was all the same from the 80's till now really, looks like they shipped the same dies to China. It got so much cheaper pretty soon they couldn't afford to make it. One of those 999$ sets today is the same price it was in 1980. 40 yrs later, same amount of dollars.

Just curious if this was actually made in USA

I think it could be from the 1990's until recently -- probably is USA made unless it was made very recently when they switched to Chinese.

If it's USA made, $15's a decent price if you need a trunk/shed kit.

I can't say for sure. The photo is too blurry for me to make out the packaging or markings on individual pieces. This is where I would ask the seller.

Looking the photo... the handle on the case is a modern Sears/Craftsman design. Also, if you look closely at the bit driver handle it has some blurry wording like “S-AF”... which is China. This is a modern Sears/Craftsman tool set, made in China and not older than 2012.
