I need some help with choosing what option to go with on our garage. I have an older two car garage that doens't have a drain and that has some cracks as well as a 2 inch lip in the middle of it. When we started the remodel I had originally planned on just putting racedeck tiles down. Because of the lip and the cracks i'm now considering repouring the garage. This is obviously fairly more expensive to do, but if I do repour it doesn't make much sense to cover the new cement with Racedeck. It seems doing epoxy would make more sense. What do people think my best option is? Should I just try to use some ready mix and see if i can make more of a ramp on the lip and then just put racedeck over it or should I do the repour and put some epoxy down? Thanks.

i'm kind of in the same boat as you.

my garage has a section thats sunk and cracked about 1-2" in spots. I've thought that maybe putting the quikrete self leveler down and then epoxying the floor would be a good short term fix (not perfect, but functional), or just to re-pour and epoxy...

What about just cutting out the bad section out with a concrete saw (rental) - pour a patch - tie it in to the existing pad with rebar dowels - an then use your racedeck. If you have the right arrangement - you may be able to cut and install a drain. Cracks may or may not be an issue - depending how bad. Give us some pics
