Help with Drill Press ID

Hello all. I'm new to the site. I enjoying toying around in the garage using various tools for repairing and repurposing objects. I acquired a Drill Press over a decade ago and finally decided to start using it. The press which seems old, primitive and does not have any markings to identify it. The body is solid cast iron. The pulley's say craftsmen on it, but may not be original. It works very nicely. I would like to identify it if possible, and would like info on how to maintain it. Any help would be deeply appreciated. Thank in advance.

LeV: it looks like your Drill press originally might not have had a motor and one of the previous owners modified yours to have one. it looks a lot like the hand crank Drill presses of the early 1900's.

here's one sitting in an old vise and a lot of them were mounted to a wall with a few gears to power by hand. while it's not exactly like yours it was a picture i had handy that might lead you down the right path to find others that are more similar to yours.

Thanks for the reply and info. WOW! I didn't think it may have been a hand crank model. As I mentioned it seems to work nicely. There is no cap on top of the spindle, so it has no way of keeping the spindle pulley from flying off. I'am going to put a shaft collar on top so when the pulley rises, it won't come off. The front pulley is not tight on the shaft because when I tightened it to the shaft, I can't pull the handle down. With the pulley loose, when I pull the handle down, the shaft rises and the pulley stays down flat. I guess this is the way the previous owner had it working. I just want to add the shaft collar for an added safety measure.
