Help With Drill Press Problem

Good Morning!
This is my first post to a forum. You all seem particularly helpful folks so I figured you could help me determine what the problem is with my drill press.

I bought it and it ran fine but after it had run for a few minutes the belt's sprocket slid down the shaft and began scratching the plate as it spun. Does anyone know what part I need to buy or how to fix it?

As you can see in the two pictures, one is where it is supposed to sit and the other is where it is sitting. Image 4620 is where it currently scratches the base plate.
Thanks!

Set screw, key in a key way or some similar fastening system that can be adjusted. Pull the pulley off, clean it and look at it. Look at the shaft or the other pulley to see what they used there...

I'd bet you just have a loose set screw, as previously mentioned.

If it doesn't have a set screw to secure it to a position on the shaft, you could always add one.

The photos aren't definitive, but is that the driven pulley on the spindle? If so, the set screw fix may not be the answer.
