help with drill press

hey guys i got an older Dayton Workshop 10" drill press. it works, but needs a chuck.
its model number 4Z660 B
its in good shape so i'd like to find a chuck for it, but am having no luck finding anything. it says it should be a 1/2" chuck.
thx for any help guys

There are a few standard mounts for afixing a chuck to a spindle. If the spindle is a male taper it is probably a JT taper. Info can be found here; http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Machine_tapers

If it is a screw on then you have to identify the thread size. If a female taper then the above site may have the info you need.

ASK THEM FOR A JACOBS, DONT USE KEYLESS AS THEY OFTEN FAIL OR SPLIT DOWN SIDE OR DONT RELEASE, I HAD ALL BRANDS OF CHUCKS EVEN THE ORIGINAL METABO "FUTURO"...****** THING LOCKS UP AND DOESENT UNDO WHICH REALLY PHUCKS ME OFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFF!
