Have a home improvment business and need to find a garage floor product that looks good. Have tried rustoleum and quikcrete and I am tired of recoating to get a even coat with no lap marks. Have been researching Top secert, Ucoatit, and wolverine. Any input on these products would be great. I am thinking the multi coat systems may be the way to go to eliminate the lap marks and uneven sheen. The products I have used do hold up well with no peel. I can say that PREP WORK IS THE KEY TO MAKING ANY CONCRETE FLOOR JOB WORK!!! All help is greatly welcome, Thanks T-Ricky

Are you using the water base version of the Rustoleum or the industrial version,
I was very happy with the industrial version and it laid down very evenly and went
farther than they said it would :bounce:

Please don't take offense but your problems may be in application error as apposed to product. If you treat some of these products as if you are painting a wall then your bound to have inconsistencies. You need to have the right tool for the right product for the right application.

If you are serious about getting into this type of business you should see about taking some courses from manufacturers. Some distributors and suppliers have workshops as well. Some are 1, 2 and 3 day courses. They are invaluable in my opinion.

Find a good local rep. This will save you a ton on shipping as well.

Just like any biz, to stay on top or to stay competitive you need to constantly educate yourself on new products, applications and techniques.
