I haven't written here in awhile but hoped you guys could help me. I have a customer who bought a Flo-dynamics model TS410 from me about 16 months ago. The machine has worked beautifully for him this long and a couple days ago it began making an abnormal noise, as well as filling the new fluid tank with old fluid and making it overflow. He's talked to flo dynamics and a tech from a local equipment warehouse that does the equipment service for our store. Neither of which have been any help except to say that it isn't possible. The machine has a reverse flow warning light, which I assume is switched by the control board using feedback from the pressure switch in the lines. It isn't lighting up when it does this but has since, so we know the warning light isn't burnt out. He said about 3 of the last 11 flushes he's attempted have resulted in it backfilling. From what I have heard and read, which includes the service manual cover to cover, I would point towards the board or the pressure switch. However I am not familiar with this type of machine so I'm not confident enough to tell him to go buy $1000 worth of parts on a hunch. Any help anyone can give, even on specifics of a trans flushes machines operation may be some help. I get what it does, but don't exactly know how exactly.
