I have this 1931 S-9580 Snap-On Tool that I
hoped someone on the board would help
identify? Thanks, Don

Its a chevrolet U joint tool. It was sold into the 50's, and is one of the more common snap on specialty tools.

Man, that was QUICK! I don't even want to know where it goes to extract money, especially in 1931!

Thanks Chad S & Billymade, appreciate your input. I really don't know how it was used, maybe you or someone else can help with that. Possibly because of the torque tube driveshaft design the u-joints would fall out when the shaft was removed or to hold the u-joint in when installing the shaft? Puller separator...can't seem to imagine that? Cheers, Don
