Help with ID of A/C unit

Need some help identifying this A/C. I picked it up for $100. PO said it worked when uninstalled about 3 weeks ago.

It is a 220 vdc, 3 ton, roof mounted unit still running r22. I have no idea how to install it or more importantly connect it to the electrical service.

I think it should cool my 625 sq ft shop. Summer temps in Tucson are brutal.

Thanks, TJ

pic #4 connect L1 to terminal with yellow wire. L2 to the terminal above it. use 30amp fuses. might also want to replace the contactor at the same time.

Id ditch the extra transformer also and just use the 24v from furnace/stat,much easier to maintain that way.;)
Oh yeah, thats 240 volts ac not dc.

Thanks guys. Yeah Zmax, not sure what I was thinkin when I put dc. :dunno:

Unfortunately I have no idea what you guys are referencing. L1/L2??...24v from furnace/stat, replace the contactor??

I know very little about wiring and am not about to do this myself. I was hoping someone would at least be able to ID the manufacturer so I might find the manuals so I can hire someone to install the electrical for me.

If it helps these units are fairly common on rooftops here in Tucson.

Unfortunately there are no identifying markings on the system anywhere.

Thanks.

Does the oval shaped capacitor have a brand name on the label? Sometimes the manufacturer will use components branded with their name.

The transformer is the part below/right of contactor that steps down the voltage to 24v to the coil on the contactor to pull the contacts closed when your thermostat calls for ac.
That was common back in the 70s to see things wired that way, eliminating that extra transformer and just bring the low voltage wire from the furnace or thermostat just makes fewer parts to break down on you.;)
